We are unique and rustic - in all the right ways and, most importantly, we are nicely located off the all-too-well-trodden path of wedding venues along the Murray River.
Our converted and very funky shipping container (aka cellar door) is frankly adorable and our bushland views are gasp worthy. At night, when the stars are out, the surrounding gum trees create a stunning, natural amphitheatre and though we can’t take any credit, the sunsets are pretty spectacular too. So is the wine. That we can take full credit for.
When it comes to tying the knot here at Barham Vines, our large lawn area, stunning bush backdrop and ideal Mediterranean climate, is the perfect locale for balmy summer evening nuptials. There’s plenty of room for two marquees, seating for up to 100 guests and a smaller indoor space for intimate gatherings.
Our fully stocked bar has a selection of beers, our Barham Vines red wines (of course), white wines, sparkling wine and a selection of spirits. Our funked-up shipping is where the magic happens, and we have plans to convert a vintage caravan to add to the fun of our weddings and functions.
We also have our very own bespoke pizza oven for casual affairs and endless, unique locations for the ceremony and wedding ‘fun’ photos. There’s the luscious lawn, our little bushland area, nearby Murray River, and not to forget the picturesque vineyard.
Excellent catering options are well sorted with local, quality producers including Burbury and Mathers and Murray Mallee Wood Fired Pizza, while and Barham and Koondrook both have loads of accommodation close by, including the Barham Holiday Park right next door. Book a place to stay here. We can also organise a lift home if required.
There’s also lots to see and do while you’re in the area, including a championship golf course, bush walks, fishing for Murray Cod, or enjoying the local speciality shops and cafes.
